In this article, you will learn how to publish your online courses as a SCORM package in the Authoring tool Knowledgeworker Create.
Before you start
Make sure you have created a course that is ready for publishing in a Learning Management System. Find the desired course e.g. via search and select Open.
- Check that the displayed content status and settings meet your expectations.
- Ensure that all languages to be provided are fully translated.
- Find out which SCORM version is supported by your Learning Management System.
Sharing a course as a SCORM package
Create a SCORM package
- Find the course to be published.
- Select Share. A window will open with various sharing options and information about existing publications
- Choose the option HTML SCORM Package.
- Select the desired languages and the SCORM version supported by the Learning Management System.
- Choose Export. The package will be created. This process can take several minutes.
Download the SCORM package
- Wait until the SCORM package is available.
- Select Save as File.
- The SCORM package will be downloaded and saved on your computer.
- If the automatic download did not work, select Download to download the package.
Publish a SCORM package in the Learning Management System
You can then upload the downloaded SCORM package from your computer to your Learning Management System.
Please refer to the guide provided by your Learning Management System manufacturer for this purpose.
