Translating courses automatically

You have created a course that you want to translate for additional target audiences with minimal effort? Follow these steps to make your content available in another language.

1. Open Knowledgeworker Create and navigate to the search.
2. Search for the course you want to translate.
3. Select More… > Automatically translate from the menu.
4. Choose the source language and the target language.
5. Click Translate and confirm with Translate now.

The course will then be automatically translated in the background. Depending on the size of the course, this process may take several minutes.

Which languages are supported?

Knowledgeworker Create offers a variety of languages for automatic translation. They are automatically available for selection.

For translation in the chosen language combination, permissions to read content in the source language and to create or edit content in the target language are required.

Overriding outdated translations

Knowledgeworker Create protects your content from accidental overwriting. Existing translations are only replaced upon your request.

If you want to overwrite outdated translations with automatic translation, activate Override outdated translations. Knowledgeworker Create will then translate not only content that is missing a translation but also content that has been edited in the source language since the last translation.
