Learn in this article how to integrate videos or video streams from various providers into Knowledgeworker Create.

Before you start

  • Upload the video to your video platform.
  • Ensure that the video is allowed to be embedded. Depending on the provider, settings in the video permissions or publishing as a link may be required.
  • Save the embedding URL of the video, e.g., by copying the URL to your clipboard.

Using video in Knowledgeworker

You can use the video directly in content or save it for later embedding in your Knowledgeworker Create media library.

Inserting video into content

  1. Insert a new media element into your content.
    • Open a course or content in the editor.
    • Drag and drop a Medium into the content area.
  2. Create the video as a new media asset
    • Click on the placeholder for the media to be inserted. Choose Select Media Asset from Library.
    • Click Create New Media Asset.
    • Specify the language and a name for the video.
    • Select Video Stream as the file type and copy the embedding link to the video (e.g., https://www.myvideos-example.com/video1) into the Video Stream URL field. Set any file name you wish.
    • Specify the width and height for optimal display, a typical video format is 1280x720.
  3. Choose Save and Close. The video is now created as a media asset and embedded in your content.
