Using External Surveys in Courses

Modified on Thu, 19 Jun at 11:21 AM

To receive feedback from learners on a course created in Knowledgeworker Create, you can use surveys with multiple feedback questions that were created in an external tool.

To make the best use of the survey, it is best to insert a link to the survey in the course – for example, at the end of the course. This has several advantages:

  • Flexible structure: Even longer surveys with many questions can be displayed without any issues. Make sure the scope of the questions is appropriate for the course to ensure that learners are motivated to complete the survey in full.
  • Proper display on all devices: A survey link opens the survey in the browser. This ensures that it is displayed correctly on all screen sizes (e.g. smartphone or tablet).
  • Simpler handling: Embedding the survey directly in the course, e.g. as an HTML package, requires individual testing, unlike the link, as the content may not be responsive on all screen sizes.

Depending on the requirements for the survey and the evaluation options available for the course, other options might also be a viable solution. Individual feedback questions in the form of trial questions can, for example, be integrated directly into the Knowledgeworker Create course and evaluated depending on the configuration in the Learning Management System or via a Learning Record Store.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact your representative or the support team.
