How to set a learning time for a course

To give your learners guidance, you can store the estimated learning time for your learning content.
The learners will see the time indication in the following places:

  • Overall indication in the menu
  • Indication for each learning objective in the chapter overview (you can activate this in the course settings in the editor by selecting "Show chapter overview")

If a learning objective contains multiple Sharable Content Objects (SCOs), the learning time will be automatically calculated from the assigned SCOs.

You can find the setting for learning time on the SCO. Here's how: Select the SCOs through the sitemap in the course. In the settings on the right-hand side, you can specify the learning time in minutes. Please note that the learning time for each SCO in the course must be specified so that the learning time for the entire course is displayed in the menu.
