You can use a Knowledgeworker Create course, which has been exported as a web package, locally and offline on a PC if the course is available as a ZIP archive on your computer.
Follow these steps for offline use:
One-time setup of the local web server
- Download a local web server of your choice, such as Simple Web Server (setup and proper functionality is your responsibility).
- Install the program on your computer.
Open the course offline
- Export your course via "Share" as a web package and choose the option "Download as file". The contents will be saved as a ZIP file on your computer.
- Unzip the ZIP archive of your course downloaded from Knowledgeworker Create.
- Start the local web server program on your computer and create a new server.
- Select the folder on your computer that contains the unzipped files of your course.
- After that, you can select your course in the local web server and start the course via the displayed link in a browser.
Tip: If you want to view your content in multiple languages, you can export multiple languages during the export process and switch the language via the menu in the course.
