How to insert a no-break space

Modified on Wed, 25 Sep at 5:21 PM

This is how you insert a no-break space in your online course in the authoring tool Knowledgeworker Create.

A no-break space (abbreviated NBSP, also known as non-breaking space) prevents an automatic line break at the space's position, which could reduce readability and disrupt the flow of the text.

Option 1: Inserting via special characters

Click the "Glyphs" symbol Ω in the text field, then select the special character of a no-break space.

Option 2: Keyboard shortcut for Mac

Press the ⌥ (option) key and the Space bar at the same time.

Option 3: Keyboard shortcut for Windows

Use the keyboard shortcut [Alt] + [0160].
