You can enhance posts in Knowledgeworker Share with images and videos. This article explains the available options.
Images
You can add images to your posts either as a post image or within the post text.
Set an image as the post image:
To use an image instead of the default preview image for a post, click the "Add image ..." button when creating the post, or click the existing preview image when editing the post later. You can then upload and crop the required image. It is used as the post image from then on.
Insert an image in the post text:
You can also insert images directly into the post text at any position. Enter the command and enter the (web) path to the image in the brackets.

Videos
You have two options for sharing a video with your users.
Embed a video as a stream:
You can embed the video as a stream directly in the post description. Knowledgeworker Share supports embedding YouTube videos, Vimeo videos, and videos or video playlists in m3u8 format.
- To embed a YouTube video, use this command: {stream}(http://youtu.be/video-id), replacing "video-id" with the YouTube video ID of the required video.
- To embed a Vimeo video, use this command:
{stream}(http://vimeo.com/video-id), replacing "video-id" with the Vimeo video ID of the required video.
- To embed a video or video playlist in m3u8 format, use this command: {stream}(http://example.com/playlist.m3u8), replacing the example link with your own.
You can also find notes under "Advanced formatting note" below the text field for the post description.
Add a video as a download:
Alternatively, you can provide the video as a download. Upload the required video as an attachment in the "Download" post type. It is displayed as a preview in the post and users can watch it directly in the stream or download it. For this option, make sure that the video is compressed correctly to keep the file size as small as possible.
