Microsoft Edge Browser Shows Visual Search Icon on Images

Modified on Tue, 1 Oct at 1:42 PM

When e-learning courses are opened in the Edge browser, it may happen that a small icon for the Bing Visual Search function appears on images.

Visual Search is automatically available for images of a certain size in Edge. This function is dependent on the browser and cannot be influenced by Knowledgeworker Create.

You can disable the function in the browser with the following steps:

  1. Open Microsoft Edge.
  2. Type edge://settings/appearance/hoverMenu in the address bar and press Enter.
  3. In the settings for the "Hover menu", you can either turn off the menu completely or block it for specific websites (e.g. kw.my, your LMS).
