What notification types are available and what do they mean?

Knowledgeworker Share can notify users about many processes and events, manually or automatically. This article explains the available notification settings and events.

Notification settings

Under Administration > Notifications, you can configure notifications for your system.

FunctionExplanation
EventA specific system event or process that triggers a notification.
ActiveWhen enabled for a notification type, the notification is available in the system and can be sent manually.
Mail/PushDefines the channels through which the notification is sent automatically.
ToThe recipient. For most notifications this is the affected user; some notifications can instead be sent to an administrator.
CC/BCCSelected users or groups, such as trainers or people responsible, can receive a copy.
PriorityPrioritized notifications are sent first when a queue exists.
ImportantSent even to users who have unsubscribed from email notifications.
ActionsTemplates can be adapted for every activated system language.
