Content Migration: Transfer Existing content to Knowledgeworker Create

Existing learning content from other authoring tools can be transferred to Knowledgeworker Create as part of a content migration.

This primarily applies to existing SCORM packages or export files from tools such as Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise, Adobe Captivate, iSpring, Lectora, or comparable systems. The goal is to make your existing content available in Knowledgeworker Create as close to the original as possible, and as editable content in your Knowledgeworker Create environment.

What can be migrated?

Depending on the source material, the following content can usually be transferred or adapted, for example:

• pages and course structures
• texts and media, such as images, videos, and audio
• questions and quizzes
• interactions
• existing design elements, where technically possible

This does not simply mean playing an existing SCORM package in Knowledgeworker Create. Instead, the content is migrated in such a way that it can be edited afterwards in Knowledgeworker Create. Existing content can then be recombined and adapted for new target groups.

How does the content migration work?

The migration is carried out by our team as a service order. After your request, we will provide you with a secure upload option. We will then review the material and clarify how the content can best be transferred to Knowledgeworker Create.

Depending on the source format, parts of the migration can be automated. If content cannot be transferred automatically, we will manually reconstruct it in Knowledgeworker Create.

Can large numbers of courses also be migrated?

Yes. Larger numbers of existing courses can also be transferred to Knowledgeworker Create. If you want to migrate many existing courses, it may also be worthwhile to specifically adapt the automated migration processes. Together, we will determine the right approach and carry out the migration as part of a service order.

What do we need from you?

For an initial assessment, a simple content migration request is usually sufficient.

The following is also helpful:

• a SCORM package or export file
• if available: the project or source file from the original authoring tool
