Setting the "Participant can improve" option

Modified on Wed, 12 Aug at 5:41 PM

To increase learning motivation and support the learning process, you can allow learners in your Knowledgeworker Share system to improve their result in an e-learning course. This article explains how.

Enable the "Participant can improve" option in advanced post editing under Administration > Manage posts > Post search > Edit post.

When it is enabled, users can restart and work through the content after completing it successfully. If the new attempt achieves a better result than the previous completion, the better attempt is used as the training result.

If a limit on the number of attempts is set for the post, the user can improve only within the configured maximum number of attempts. Once all maximum attempts have been used, the training can be started only for practice or in review mode, provided that the relevant options are enabled.

The "Participant can improve" setting can be enabled only when course content in SCORM 2004 format is used.
