Multi-language Course Exports

Modified on Wed, 2 Oct at 4:24 PM

Here you will find step-by-step instructions on how to export your courses in multiple languages.

Checking the translation status

Check if the course has been fully translated into all the language versions you wish to export. You can view the translation status, for example, in the Internationalization Overview or the Translation Report of the respective language (via "More" on the course).

Share course

Start the export dialog via "Share" on the course. After selecting the desired export option (SCORM package, xAPI package, or web package), you can select all the languages in which you want to export the content in the next step. This will export a single package that contains the content in the selected languages.

The multi-language export is also available for PDF export, allowing you to generate one PDF file in the selected languages with a single export process.

Language selection in LMS

Please note that your Learning Management System must support multi-language courses for the feature to work as described.

When learners open the published course, the content is displayed in the same language as the browser language. If the browser language does not match any of the translated languages, a language selection will be displayed, allowing learners to choose.
Feel free to contact us if you would like to display this language selection page by default before starting your courses.

In the bottom section of the learner menu, learners can always see the current course language. This section can be expanded to view all available language versions for the published course. If necessary, a different language can be selected.
